📱 How to install

  1. Tap Download APK above. The file downloads from nyther.app over HTTPS.
  2. Android will ask to allow this browser to install apps. Tap Settings → enable Install unknown apps for your browser.
  3. Open your Downloads folder (or tap the download notification) and select nyther-v*.apk.
  4. Tap Install. After install completes, you can revoke the unknown-apps permission from Settings if you want.
  5. Open Nyther, sign in with email or Google, pick a companion, start chatting.
Xiaomi / MIUI / HyperOS users: you may need to disable MIUI Optimization under Developer Options before install. This is a known quirk of Xiaomi's security layer — it doesn't affect the app after install.

The APK is signed with Nyther's stable release key (SHA-1 FB:D3:15:80:AB:58:D4:12:DC:48:AC:25:DB:78:15:23:E8:D3:7A:7B) and served over HTTPS from nyther.app. There is no repackaging and no third-party tracking SDKs inside. Android's installer will show the signing certificate during install so you can verify.

Direct APK distribution lets Nyther ship a mature, unfiltered conversation experience without the Play Store's content restrictions. You only sideload once — the app's built-in updater checks for new versions on every cold launch and offers a one-tap install.
